Frequently Asked Questions

Q Where do I park?

A Upon entering the church grounds you will notice visitor parking on the left side of the church building. A greeter will be at the front doors to assist you further.

Q How do I dress?

A Dress comfortably. While some attendees do wear their "Sunday best," most folks wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday morning. Don't worry about what you wear-just come prepared to have a wonderful time of worship and fellowship!

Q What do I bring?

A A Bible will help you to follow along in worship and in Bible Study. If you have a Bible, bring it with you to church. Our pastor refers to the Bible often during his message. If you don't have a Bible, or forgot to bring your Bible, Bibles are available in the Sanctuary pews.

Q Do I have to give money?

A No, you are not required to give money. As members we give an offering each Sunday not only to pay the expenses and salaries of the church but because it is a command of the Lord to tithe, (Malachi 3:10.) If you are lead of the Lord to give, your money will be used to further the Kingdom of God and His Great Commission, reaching the lost.

Q When do I need to arrive?

A Sunday Bible Study begins at 9:30 a.m. and our Morning Worship Service begins at 10:30 a.m. Arrive fifteen minutes before your desired worship/Bible study time to allow for parking and getting your children to their classes.

Q Where do my children go?

A Eastwood has excellent preschool and children's ministries. Greeters and Ushers will assist you in getting your children to their class or department. We offer preschool childcare from bed babies through 4 years. Your children (grades K-2) won't want to miss "Kidsville" Children's Church (held simultaneously with our 10:30 a.m. service). Sunday Bible Study classes are offered for all ages.

Q What about security?

A We take child security seriously at EBC. Each child must be registered at either the Preschool Welcome Desk or the Children's Ministry office before entering a Sunday school class. Additional security measures and personnel are on campus to ensure the safety of every attendee. A pager is given to parents of preschool children in case a need arises during the morning service.
