Justin Holcomb

Senior Pastor

Pastor Justin has been in ministry since the age of 17. He joined the Eastwood staff in 2012 before becoming our Senior Pastor on January 12, 2014. His desire is to challenge God’s people to grow in their intimacy with Christ and to invite the unbeliever into a personal relationship with their Creator. As Senior Pastor, Justin leads our church towards a God given vision that seeks to equip the saints for multi-generational ministry (Eph. 4:12) both in the church and in the community. Justin states that his philosophy of ministry is “To live out a ministry that outlives my life.”

Justin is a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a B.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education. He also holds a Master of Divinity degree and plans to pursue the Doctor of Ministry with a specialization in expository preaching. Justin believes that “leaders are learners” and considers the study and exhortation of God’s Word to be his first and greatest calling.

Justin and his wife, Sydnee, have been married since June 14, 2014. They currently desire to have children together and trust God’s plans for growing their little family. They have an English Bulldog and enjoy serving in ministry as a team. Apart from Jesus, Sydnee is Justin’s greatest passion and priority.

Justin’s other passions include: Preaching; the local church; reading anything on leadership, ministry, or sports; cheering on the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, and Georgia Bulldogs; working out with Sydnee at the gym; hunting and fishing.

Justin’s life verse is Romans 12:1-2 – “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

Chris Noggle

Associate / Family Pastor

Chris Noggle has been on staff as the Associate and Family Pastor of Eastwood Baptist Church since October 2018. He has had the opportunity to serve as a volunteer and staff member in children and students’ ministry for over 20 years.

As the Associate and Family Pastor, his ministry is to oversee all areas related to family ministry, and to assist the Senior Pastor in making sure our guests and members are able to experience the truth of God’s Word in a loving and grace-filled environment.

Chris earned both his M.A. in Christian Ministry and B.S. of Psychology and Christian Counseling at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. He is married to his wife Shannon, and he has two amazing little girls named Kaila and Alanna. Serving as a volunteer and on staff in ministry for over 8 years has prepared him for his current ministry at Eastwood Baptist Church. His ministry is to engage the church in a blended style of worship that appeals to all ages.

When not ministering at Eastwood, he enjoys spending time with his wife and being actively involved in a variety of hobbies. Logan is married to his wife Lauren, who is a great supporter of his ministry and is someone in whom he can count on to provide knowledge and guidance to his life.

He is currently enrolled as a student at Berklee School of Music where he hopes to build on his knowledge in order to provide him with the tools needed to serve God and the people of Eastwood Baptist Church.

Kyler Post

Kyler has been a lifelong Metro-Atlanta resident and churchgoer since 1988, spending most of his life in Hiram. He graduated from Berry College in Rome in 2010, and currently resides and works in Sandy Springs working in advertising sales.

He has been around music his entire life and started learning piano in 7th grade. Since then, Kyler says that, “music has taken him to some of the coolest places in the country and has allowed him to serve alongside some of the best people, including here at Eastwood.”

He plays the piano, leads and manages the Eastwood Band, arranges music, and assists Logan when needed and wherever possible.

He is an avid sports fan and news junkie, who has never met a stranger in his entire life. Make sure you say hi when you see him at Eastwood.

He is responsible for communicating with and coordinating contact with our 70 plus Faith Promise Missionaries as well as keeping Eastwood informed about Southern Baptist missions around the world. Among other duties, Lee seeks to assist with local missions projects.

In the area of revitalization, he simply serves as a sounding board for the staff as they seek to move Eastwood forward in being all she is as a thriving, relevant congregation reaching the neighborhood. Lee and his wife Ellen have served together in ministry for 50 years including 25 years with the Southern Baptist North American Mission Board in Oklahoma and Kansas.

They have two children and two grandchildren.

Jorge Romero

Latino Pastor

Jorge serves as our Hispanic ministry coordinator and feels blessed to be a part of the church’s outreach team to the Latino community.

He joined the church in 2017 and since that time, he has been establishing relationships with members of our Spanish speaking community.

He has spent most of his time in the States in ministry in Northwest Georgia where he helped launch two centers to help meet the needs of the Hispanic community. Most recently, Jorge relocated to the Marietta area with a desire to serve our Hispanic community.

Gereal Byrd

Financial and Pastor's Secretary

Gereal has been on staff at Eastwood since 1997. She holds the title of Church and Pastor’s Secretary, and is considered as one of the hardest working individuals on campus. Pastor Justin says, “My job would be a lot more difficult without Mrs. Gereal.”

She graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1960. Gereal and her husband, Rayford, have been married since December 19, 1959. Together, they have three daughters, eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren with another expected in March.

Gereal was saved as a teenager, in 1957, and continues to serve Christ faithfully. She is an example for all of us as to what it means to dedicate your entire life to the Lord.

Pat Harrelson

Administrative Assistant

Pat and her husband, Rick, joined Eastwood Baptist in 2015, and she joined the office staff as the Administrative Assistant in 2016. She has a passion for seeing things done with excellence and always strives to give 110% in whatever she does, especially for Jesus!

Pat was born and raised in Virginia; and God allowed her to meet her husband-to-be, Rick, at a church camp in West Virginia in the summer of 1970. They have been married for over 45 years and have two grown sons.

Some of her passions include: cooking and feeding those who are less fortunate (particularly children suffering from food insecurity), playing piano and ministering in music at the nursing home each week, and decorating her home at Christmas time. She and Rick also head up the Kitchen and Community Outreach Ministries. She feels that all her talents and abilities have been given for one specific purpose, and that is to lift Jesus higher so that all may see Him.
