Small Groups

At Eastwood, we believe that small groups are a critical part in the discipleship process. Because of this, we offer various ways and times for adults to develop relationships with other believers.

D (Discipleship Groups)

Each Sunday night, our D-Groups meet in homes around Cobb, Paulding, and Cherokee County. Our D-Groups are committed to personal discipleship and training the participants to help others grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. For more information about the reading plan and D-Groups contact Chris Noggle at

Sunday School

Our focus at Eastwood Baptist Church is to provide a place for adults and children to grow in their relationship with Christ. Our vision stems from (Matthew 28:18-20): “…Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you…” Our vision is to focus on two critical areas: evangelizing the lost and discipling the saved. We make it our goal to incorporate 3 critical areas into our curriculum as well: Real God, Real Love, and Real Faith.

Sunday School begins at approximately 9:30 a.m. and we have classes that fit every every age group. We would love for you to be a part of our Sunday school. For more information contact Taylor Holcomb at

Joy Club

The Joy Club is made up of our fifty and over members at Eastwood. We meet every second Tuesday of the month for the purpose of socializing. This is a great time for our Joy members to encourage one another and to get to know each other better. We have covered dish luncheons and different types of entertainment at the church, and we go to different restaurants and places of interest throughout the year. Contact Don or Judy Franke at for more information.
