Preschool / Children
At Eastwood Baptist Church, we believe every child is a precious gift from God, full of potential and purpose. Our Children’s Ministry exists to partner with families in laying a strong spiritual foundation for the next generation. Through engaging Bible teaching, fun activities, and loving relationships, we help kids grow in their faith and knowledge of Jesus.

Youth
Friendship & Discipleship
Our church feels called to a Student Ministry centered around relationships and discipleship, and our Wednesday night program is called the Table for just that reason. We believe some of the sweetest moments of friendship and discipleship in life come from simply sharing a meal at the table with a brother or sister in Christ.

On Sunday morning, we gather for our bible study of the Gospel of John at 9:30 am, but before we start that, we begin with a time of games and community over some tasty donuts. We hope this time will allow students to build relationships with other students. On Wednesday Nights, we gather at 5:30, where students can eat a hot meal with the other students. During this time, small group leaders will be seated with their students to build a connection with those students. In order to connect families with other families, our Student Ministry also partners with our Kids’ Ministry for large next-gen events multiple times a year, such as our Summer Blast event and Easter.
Lastly, to connect families with their Student Pastor, Elijah would love to connect with you over a meal at a local restaurant. We typically do these on Sunday afternoons after service, and Eastwood picks up the tab. We also encourage our families to share schedules of sporting events, plays, and other extracurricular activities with Elijah so he can support the students in all they do!
Evergeen Senior Adult Ministry
We love having a good time…
Evergreen is a vibrant and caring group of adult volunteers committed to faithfulness, fellowship and service within the Eastwood family. Our gatherings are designed to encourage one another through meaningful fellowship and personal spiritual growth, always rooted in God’s Word and prayer.

Whether it is delivering an occasional meal, sending a card, or making a personal visit, we stand ready to serve people during the challenges of life. We stand alongside our deacon servants to assist them in the shepherding, protecting, and feeding of the flock.
The Evergreen ministry has a special place in our heart for members who’ve become home-bound and are no longer able to attend regularly. We are committed to staying in touch with them, and through ongoing contact and acts of kindness, strive to remind them that they are loved and not forgotten

You will find a friendly, fun loving atmosphere, but more than that we hope we will be as iron sharpens iron and we can help each other as we run our races together, side by side serving our Lord.
Bible Study Groups
Faith Class | Jill Coe – Room 102
A welcoming Bible study class for older adult women that fosters spiritual growth, meaningful friendships, and encouragement through God’s Word. Together, participants study the Bible, and support one another in prayer, and helping others in a variety of mission projects.
Legacy Builders | Scott Tucker – Room 103
This Bible study class is for empty nesters where couples and individuals gather to study Scripture, share life experiences, and encourage one another as they navigate new rhythms and opportunities.
Faithful | Doug Walden – Room 104
A Bible study class for older adults centered on lecture-driven teaching and book-by-book study of Scripture. Each session provides thoughtful, in-depth exploration of the Bible, helping participants understand context, themes, and application.
Foundations | Keith Hallman – Room 105
A coed Bible study class for adults of different ages and stages of life. The class has a strong emphasis on accountability and participants are encouraged to consistently read, reflect, and apply God’s Word in their daily lives.
Lighthouse | Michelle Harrell – Gym
This Bible study class is for a diverse group of adults with a strong focus on studying Scripture. Participants engage in topical Bible study and growing in their understanding of God’s Word and how it applies to everyday life..
Steve Fetkenhour | Room 20
This Bible study group consists of young and middle-aged adults, designed to foster authentic community and spiritual growth. Through practical teaching, and meaningful connection, participants explore Scripture together and encourage one another in their faith. This group offers a dynamic environment where relationships grow and God’s Word comes to life.

Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is for EVERYONE!
No one should have to face their pain alone. We are a grace-filled community of strugglers who courageously enter this safe and beautiful space to get honest about our pain, and the negative ways we may see ourselves, God, and others. In this process, we come to accept that some of the habits we have developed to escape our pain may have hurt us and those close to us.

Food Pantry
Love of Christ to our Community
The Food Pantry is open every Monday night from 5:00 to 6:00. Those we serve are provided a cart and grocery bags to fill as they shop their way through the pantry.
This service is provided as a demonstration of the love of Christ to our community.

The STUMP is a welcoming place for young professionals to connect and grow together in community. We meet every Thursday at 7:00 PM for a relaxed evening that includes dinner, Bible study, meaningful discussion, and plenty of laughter over games and conversation.
